Welcome to Stanford Furniture
Located
in Claremont, North Carolina, Stanford Furniture is proud to be a
manufacturer of the finest upholstered products made in the United
States. Occasional furniture is assembled abroad but finished in our
factory in North Carolina. Our goal is to serve our customers with
products that are of the highest quality and to communicate in a
professional, courteous and friendly manner.
Our catalog contains our complete line of
products but does not include all that we are able to make. Should you
desire items to be modified or altered in any manner, please do not
hesitate to call our customer service department to ascertain the
feasibility of producing any piece “custom”. Usually, we can modify any
fully upholstered piece in North Carolina and ship the finished product
in eight to ten weeks from the acknowledgment of the order. Exposed
wood frames normally have to be modified abroad which requires a
shipping time of five to six months.
We have a broad range of finish options available. In addition we can finish
any piece in any Sherwin Williams paint color with your choice of three
different techniques; lacquer, rubbed glaze or time honored. All
finishing is done in our factory in North Carolina.
Fine fabrics are selected for the line from mills
around the world. Our strategy is to select items that appeal to the
eye of the finest designers. Although we pay attention to the price of
fabrics we select we do not attempt to buy fabrics to “hit” a specific
price point. COM is also welcome and handled with care.
Comfort is our hallmark. Assuring that the frame
has the right pitch is of critical importance. In addition, seat
cushions are produced with spring down or “feathersoft” construction and
back cushions are made from blend down. Frames are produced from fine
hard woods; maple, beech or oak are used depending on the style.
Virtually every frame has eight way hand tied coil springs.
Fine precise tailoring is accomplished by
employing methods perfected over decades. All fabrics are individually
cut to assure full pattern match or the front, sides and back of the
piece. Pieces are sewn using a myriad of closing techniques to include
welt, saddle stitch, top stitch, flange and decorative trims. All
upholstery is “bench made”. Decorative nail patterns are accomplished
by setting nails individually. Each piece is carefully inspected prior
to shipping.
We are proud that our products will be a part of
your home. We are honored and privileged to have the opportunity.
Thank you very much for your interest. |
